new tote bag! A client had an old mail bag that had belonged to a family member and we made a tote and cosmetic bags utilizing it as well as making a cool and functional memorial. The belt that we used as straps had also belonged to this dear deceased one.

Alterations!

This was a fun alterations job. This beautiful young gal's dress was too long and did not look youthful. So we shortened the several layers of organdy that has the fun curly edging. The curly effect is accomplished using 80# test fishing line if you can believe it. You'll never guess how the curly effect is achieved!

Discouraged bridesmaids in what turned out to be a much more frumpy dress than was pictured online when they bought them as well as non returnable. So...
I almost totally redesigned the bodice using the original dress as materials...

as well as shortening it to a much more youthful length. The finished dress ended up having 2 satin and lace roses with pearl embellishments at the waist instead of just the one that is pictured.
